Trump Reiterates Claims of Destroying Iran’s Military Capabilities, Cites Nuclear Oversight

President Donald Trump has renewed assertions that the United States has dismantled Iran’s military and defensive power, while also claiming robust oversight of Tehran’s nuclear program.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency,

U.S. President Donald Trump has reiterated his assertions that the United States has destroyed Iran’s military and defensive capabilities, according to reports from Al Jazeera via the Mehr News Agency.

Trump also claimed that he does not require NATO assistance for the security of the Strait of Hormuz.

He added, “Without American military support, Ukraine would not only be unable to fight today, but it wouldn’t have sustained the invasion for even a single day.”

The U.S. President’s claim regarding the destruction of Iran’s military might comes as Iran’s armed forces recently targeted positions of American terrorists in several regional countries in response to their aggression.

Trump further stated that Iranians will never obtain nuclear weapons.

He added, “If Iran kills American soldiers, that could be a very strong reason to resume military operations.”

Trump claimed that the U.S. is monitoring Iran’s nuclear sites from space and that anyone approaching them will face an appropriate and severe response.

Regarding the deployment of special forces to seize Iran’s nuclear materials, the U.S. President claimed that this matter had been reviewed but that he had avoided entering a situation similar to the era of Jimmy Carter.

Concerning the situation in Lebanon, Trump stated that events are unfolding and, in his belief, progress has been made in this regard.

He linked the Lebanon conflict to Iran, saying, “Although the Lebanon file is somewhat different, it remains connected to Iran.”

The U.S. President said he had spoken with Netanyahu and Hezbollah, and that progress had been made toward ending the conflict.

Addressing reporters, the U.S. President indicated that they would soon understand the agreement with Iran.

He claimed, “The main part of this agreement is that the Strait of Hormuz will be opened quickly.”

Trump stated that after concluding matters in Iran, his country would turn its attention to Cuba.
