Trump Envoys Reportedly Consulted Experts on Iran Nuclear Negotiations

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Reuters has alleged that envoys for then-President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, held discussions on Thursday with experts potentially involved in future nuclear negotiations with Iran. The meetings reportedly took place at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee.
The report further indicated that Trump maintained a firm stance, insisting that any agreement to end hostilities with Iran must include provisions preventing Tehran from accessing nuclear weapons. This assertion stands in contrast to repeated declarations by Iranian officials emphasizing the peaceful applications of nuclear energy.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated recently that he sees no provocative actions from Iran and that Russia has no evidence suggesting Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons. Putin affirmed that Iran’s acquisition of uranium for peaceful purposes is its right.
