Gaza Death Toll Surpasses 72,900 as Ministry Reports Latest Casualties
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Sunday, June 7, 2026, that 10 martyrs and 36 injured individuals were transported to local hospitals within the last 24 hours. The ministry emphasized that numerous casualties remain trapped under rubble and in inaccessible areas, with rescue teams unable to reach them due to prevailing conditions and limitations.
Official figures from the Gaza Health Ministry indicate that since the implementation of a ceasefire agreement on October 11, 961 Palestinians have been martyred and 3,020 others have been injured. During this period, the bodies of 782 martyrs have also been recovered from under the rubble and from various locations.
The cumulative death toll since the onset of the Israeli regime’s genocidal war against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, now stands at 72,971 martyrs, with 173,128 individuals sustaining injuries, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
