Fragile Calm Returns to Beirut and its Southern Suburbs Following Iranian Missile Strikes

A fragile calm has settled over Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, and its southern suburbs after Iranian missile strikes targeted central areas in occupied territories overnight in response to repeated Israeli aggressions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a fragile calm is currently prevailing in the Lebanese capital and its southern suburbs, with no attacks reported overnight. Data published by the Mehr News Agency, quoting Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Beirut, indicates that the sounds of explosions heard in the Lebanese skies may have originated from missiles fired from warships towards Iran.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched a missile attack on central areas in the occupied territories last night. This action was taken in retaliation for repeated aggressions by the Zionist regime against Lebanon and Beirut’s southern suburbs.
