Hamas Hails Iran’s Missile Strikes as ‘Manifestation of Islamic Ummah Solidarity’
The Palestinian Hamas movement has praised Iran’s missile response to Israeli actions against Lebanon, describing it as a manifestation of the genuine solidarity that should exist among Islamic nations. The strikes targeted occupied territories following Israeli bombardment of Beirut’s southern suburbs.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hazem Qassem, spokesperson for the Hamas movement, stated that Iran’s response to the “audacity of the Zionist occupation regime” against the brotherly Lebanese people embodies the true solidarity that ought to prevail among the pillars of the Islamic Ummah. The statement was published by the Mehr News Agency.
Earlier, Iran’s armed forces launched dozens of ballistic missiles targeting areas within the occupied territories. This action was in retaliation for the severe bombardment of Dahiyeh, Beirut, by the Zionist regime.
Iranian officials had previously warned the Zionist regime that any attack on Dahiyeh, Beirut, would result in strikes against the occupied territories.
