Turkish Foreign Minister Calls for End to Iran-U.S. Conflict, Expresses Optimism on Deal

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated on Monday that the war between Iran and the United States must conclude. Ankara is actively maintaining communication channels with both the U.S. and Iran, as well as with regional countries, supporting diplomacy and dialogue to foster peace and stability.
Fidan’s remarks follow his announcement the previous day that the United States and Iran have likely reached an understanding on the final text of an agreement. In an interview with South Korea’s JTBC television channel, the Turkish minister conveyed significant optimism, citing regular consultations with both parties, Pakistani mediation, and the involvement of several other regional actors.
“We are doing our best to help them (the U.S. and Iran) reach an agreement,” Fidan said, acknowledging that while specific technical details remain, he believes both sides have reached a general consensus on the final draft of the initial agreement. He expressed hope for positive news in the near future.
Regarding the stance of the Israeli regime amidst the diplomatic process between Washington and Tehran, Fidan noted that Israel currently perceives any agreement in its current form as contrary to Tel Aviv’s interests. Consequently, Israel is reportedly making efforts to derail or disrupt the negotiations.
