Israel Eyes Gaza War Halt Amid Iranian Missile Strikes, Reports Indicate

Following significant Iranian missile attacks, Israeli media outlet Israel Hayom reports a potential Israeli willingness to cease hostilities in Gaza, contingent on Iran refraining from further missile launches. This development comes amid reports of diplomatic messages exchanged between Israel, the U.S., and Iran.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli media outlet Israel Hayom, citing its sources, has reported a shift in Israel’s stance towards concluding the ongoing conflict, apparently prompted by substantial Iranian missile strikes. The report indicates that both Israel and the United States conveyed a message to Iran suggesting that further Israeli retaliatory actions would be avoided if Iran ceased its missile firings.

Israel Hayom, acknowledging the debilitating impact of Iran’s missile operations, stated that Israel’s cessation of attacks is directly conditional upon Iran halting its own missile bombardments. This development suggests a strategic reassessment by Israel in light of the Iranian response.

Concurrently, Axios, quoting a U.S. official, claimed that Washington has not sanctioned Israel’s attacks against Iran and has urged Prime Minister Netanyahu to bring these operations to an end. This assertion from the U.S. perspective adds another layer to the diplomatic maneuvering surrounding the escalating tensions.
