UK Prime Minister Calls for De-escalation in Middle East Amid Peace Talks

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has urged all parties in the Middle East to exercise restraint and cease hostilities, emphasizing the importance of allowing serious negotiations for a lasting peace to proceed.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has commented on the developing situation in the Middle East, calling for self-control and an end to the conflict among the involved parties.

Starmer stated, “Serious negotiations are underway to establish a lasting peace, and they must be given the opportunity to succeed.”

Previously, U.S. President Donald Trump had also commented, suggesting that both Israel and Iran were seeking an immediate ceasefire. He claimed that final negotiations concerning “peace” were in progress, though he acknowledged that “ignorance or folly” could hinder the process. Trump asserted that the blockade would continue with full force until a “final agreement” was reached, stressing the need for swift action.
