Trump Claims Deal with Iran Imminent, Cites Progress on Nuclear Issues and Strait of Hormuz

U.S. President Donald Trump has asserted that a deal to end conflicts with Iran could be reached within two to three days, claiming significant progress on nuclear weapons and the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters following a sports event that a comprehensive agreement to conclude the ongoing disputes with Iran is achievable within a two-to-three-day timeframe. The President reiterated his claim that this proposed accord would prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and ensure the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. He stated, “We are in the final stages of this agreement. I do not believe there are any differences, and all parties have come very close to an agreement.” Concurrently, President Trump indicated that U.S. sanctions against Iranian ports remain in effect, a continuation of the administration’s dual policy approach. Regarding regional conflicts, Trump commented that Iran and the Israeli regime had agreed to a ceasefire, having engaged in reciprocal attacks before reaching an understanding facilitated by his mediation.
