Trump Claims US Responding to Helicopter Downing

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed in an interview with ABC that responding to the downing of a helicopter is crucial. He stated, “They shot down a helicopter, and we are responding right now.”

Trump alleged that this response is a direct consequence of actions taken against an American helicopter the previous night, asserting that the response must be “very strong and powerful, and that is what this response is.” Earlier, the U.S. President had downplayed the incident, suggesting the downing of an Apache helicopter was not a serious matter.

Moments before these statements, the U.S. military’s Central Command (CENTCOM) announced strikes on areas in southern Iran.
