Qatar Prime Minister Discusses Iran-US Agreement and Regional Stability with UN Chief

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Qatar‘s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, engaged in a phone conversation with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres. The discussions centered on the agreement between Iran and the United States, as well as ongoing endeavors to enhance security and stability within the region.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that during this phone call, both parties reviewed the latest regional developments and explored avenues for strengthening cooperation between Doha and the United Nations.
During the conversation, the Prime Minister of Qatar underscored his country’s continued support for all diplomatic efforts and initiatives aimed at fostering regional security and stability. He also emphasized the necessity of achieving sustainable solutions for existing issues and disputes through dialogue and peaceful means, in alignment with the principles of international law and good neighborliness.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar further reported that Al Thani stated that adopting a negotiation-based approach can open new horizons for cooperation, development, and prosperity, thereby contributing to the attainment of common interests for the nations of the region and the world.
