Ukraine Launches Widespread Drone Attacks on Russia, Moscow Refinery Targeted
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, local sources reported widespread Ukrainian drone attacks on Moscow, the Russian capital, overnight, with reports of massive explosions in the city.
The Mayor of Moscow announced that the city faced a massive wave of Ukrainian drone attacks early this morning, with air defenses successfully downing at least 52 drones.
In one of these attacks, the oil refinery in the Kapotina district of Moscow, which had also been targeted by Ukrainian drone strikes over the past two days, was hit.
Yuri Slyusar, the governor of Russia’s Rostov region, stated that as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack in the region, one person was killed and two others were injured, and a diesel locomotive also sustained damage.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the country’s air defenses intercepted and destroyed 555 Ukrainian drones overnight over various regions of Russia, including Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, and Voronezh.
