Turkey Condemns Israeli Actions, Cites Regional Instability

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkey‘s National Security Council, chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, announced that Israel’s “aggressive actions” are hindering efforts to establish lasting peace and stability in the region.
The council’s statement, citing the continued ceasefire violations in Gaza, attacks by Zionist settlers in the West Bank, incursions into the status of Jerusalem, and targeting of Lebanon’s sovereignty, urged the international community to adopt a principled position against these behaviors.
Turkey’s Supreme National Security Council also welcomed the agreement between Iran and the United States, emphasizing the necessity of preserving this accord.
Referencing the situation in the Palestinian territories, the statement added that the aggressive actions of the Israeli regime’s cabinet, which continues to violate the ceasefire in Gaza, terrorism against settlers in the West Bank, encroachment on the status of Jerusalem, and targeting Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, all negatively impact efforts to establish peace and stability in the region.
