Netanyahu Vows Continued Operations in Lebanon, Claims Iranian Nuclear Threat

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that his government still has considerable tasks to undertake in Lebanon. Dismissing any notion of an Israeli army withdrawal from southern Lebanon, Netanyahu claimed the army aims to establish a buffer security belt to prevent Hezbollah from attacking occupied territories.

He further added that the Israeli army is striving to maintain the security of this belt for its forces. This assertion comes despite Hezbollah Lebanon’s consistent stance of never initiating attacks on occupied territories. All actions by the resistance forces have been in response to the aggressions and crimes committed by the Israeli regime against Lebanon and Muslim nations in the region.

Netanyahu, without acknowledging the failure of his belligerent policies against Iran, alleged that Tel Aviv has conducted numerous operations within Iran and is determined to prevent the country from acquiring nuclear weapons. Iran has repeatedly affirmed that it is not pursuing the production of atomic weapons, a position corroborated by reports from the International Atomic Energy Agency. In stark contrast, the illegitimate Zionist regime possesses hundreds of nuclear warheads and has consistently refused international inspections of its nuclear facilities.

The United States and the Zionist regime initiated their campaigns against Iran with the stated objectives of overthrowing its government and dismantling Tehran’s nuclear program. However, after 40 days, they have failed to achieve any of these goals. Nevertheless, Netanyahu continued to assert in his recent statements: “Iran’s attainment of nuclear weapons is an existential threat to Israel, and we will prevent it.”
