Israel Weighs South Lebanon Withdrawal Timeline Amidst Internal Pressure

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, an unnamed regional security-political source speaking to Al Mayadeen network stated that consistent statements and stances from Israeli officials indicate political and military failures, alongside intense internal tensions within the Israeli regime. The source added that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, irrespective of his personal desires, will be compelled to accept a ceasefire based on the terms of an understanding between Iran and the United States.
According to this source, “When Netanyahu adopts exaggerated positions, it signifies his readiness to enter the next phase.” He also emphasized that the resistance has imposed the ceasefire and will continue its activities until the liberation of the last occupied point in southern Lebanon.
The source informed Al Mayadeen that the initial stages of drafting a timeline for the withdrawal of the Israeli army from southern Lebanon are being prepared, and this matter is currently under review and revision. He concluded by stating that the timetable for the withdrawal of the Israeli regime’s army will be formulated based on the established mechanisms for monitoring the ceasefire and implementing the first clause of the understanding.
