Venezuela Earthquake Aftermath: Over 900 Dead, 50,000 Missing

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, devastating earthquakes have struck Venezuela, leaving a significant casualty count. Reports, citing Al Arabiya and Mehr News Agency, indicate that the death toll has reached 920 individuals following two major seismic events that shook the country on Wednesday.
The United Nations has estimated that the number of missing persons in the aftermath of these two earthquakes could exceed 50,000. Additionally, it has been reported that 3,360 people have sustained injuries.
The international body announced on Friday that rescue teams from 17 countries are being deployed to Venezuela to participate in the search and rescue operations. The magnitude of the powerful earthquakes in Venezuela was calculated to be over seven on the Richter scale. It has also been reported that a large number of buildings in Venezuela have been severely damaged as a consequence of these tremors.
