Lebanese Lawmaker Denounces Israel Deal as Illegitimate

A Lebanese lawmaker affiliated with Hezbollah has declared an agreement between Beirut and Tel Aviv as legally void and lacking legitimacy. The deal has also faced significant public and political opposition within Lebanon.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, Ibrahim Al-Mousawi, stated that when Benjamin Netanyahu refers to the signed agreement with Beirut as an achievement, it signifies a historic oversight and submission to the enemy’s dictates.

Al-Mousawi added that the so-called framework agreement is legally void and possesses no legitimacy. He emphasized that the agreement between Joseph Aoun and Netanyahu has no connection to Lebanon, its people, or its independent and honorable citizens.

The aforementioned agreement, which reportedly emphasizes the disarmament of the resistance, has encountered protests from the public and opposition from several Lebanese parliamentary blocs and political movements.
