Iranian Academics Condemn Trump, Netanyahu in Statement Honoring Martyred Leader
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, The Islamic Iranian Association of University Academics has issued a statement on the occasion of the funeral procession and commemoration ceremony for the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution. The text of the statement is as follows:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
“O soul at peace, return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him]. So enter among My [righteous] servants and enter My Paradise.”
“As you offered your life for the peoples, the peoples will offer their lives for you.”
The people of Iran, on the verge of the funeral procession for the revered martyr of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, may God’s mercy be upon him, and his dear family, are uniting with clenched fists to create a magnificent, enduring, and unparalleled epic in Iran’s history.
Millions of devoted followers and admirers of the late Imam from across the country, along with guests from over 100 countries, are gathering in Tehran to bid a heartfelt and epic farewell to the “Martyred Master of Iran.” They aim to reveal a breathtaking spectacle that stands as the highest symbol of national unity and cohesion, love for the martyred leader, allegiance to his righteous successor, and a call for retribution and condemnation of the deceitful and brutal Trump, the genocidal and criminal Netanyahu, and their criminal supporters and mercenaries.
Indeed, the Iranian nation and the followers of our master and leader will once again, in Tehran, Qom, the holy shrines of Najaf and Karbala, and Mashhad, showcase their devotion and loyalty to their beloved and guide to the world. He is a distinguished figure who dedicated his precious life to serving the people selflessly, advancing and developing the country, powerfully defending the territorial integrity, Islamic principles, and values, ensuring Iran’s honor and pride, and supporting the Axis of Resistance.
This courageous and wise Imam, through faith and hope, knowledge and wisdom, foresight and sagacity, intellect and discernment, magnanimity and steadfastness, ambition and valor, resolve and determination, self-confidence and bravery, thwarted the great Satan and its allies and supporters for 37 years in their wicked objectives of dominating a proud Iran, elevating Iran’s position to that of a rising and invincible global power.
Ultimately, on this luminous path, he offered his life and that of his loved ones to preserve the greatness of Iran and the dignity of Iranians, allowing that traveler towards God and that soul at peace to achieve his long-cherished aspiration – the supreme success of martyrdom – and find his abode in the vicinity of prophets, saints, and his martyred companions.
Now, we university professors, alongside the heroic nation and the Islamic Ummah, consider participating in this unparalleled farewell our minimal duty. By supporting the guidance and directives of His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyid Mujtaba Hosseini Khamenei and elucidating the ideals and thought system of the two Imams of the Revolution, we will pave the way for the formation of a new Islamic civilization and register our names among those awaiting the reappearance and uprising of the Qa’im of the Household of Muhammad (may God hasten his reappearance).
