Massive Crowds and Red Flags Mark Soleimani’s Funeral Procession in Iran

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, reporting on the massive public turnout and symbolic red flags at today’s funeral procession, Al Mayadeen Network’s correspondent stated that an immense crowd began congregating from the early morning hours to participate in the 25-kilometer funeral march for Iran‘s “martyred leader.” The atmosphere was steeped in grief and sorrow, with participants holding flags aloft, participating in what is expected to be the largest funeral procession witnessed in Iran and the region in the current era.

The correspondent further elaborated that this day will be a significant one for the Iranian people, marking its place in the country’s political history. The sheer volume of the crowd was such that passage through some streets became impossible.
