Massive Crowds Mourn Ayatollah Khamenei in Tehran, Chanting Calls for Revenge
Tens of thousands gathered in Tehran for the funeral procession of Ayatollah Khamenei, with mourners chanting slogans demanding retribution against his killers, according to CNN Arabic and Lebanese newspaper Al-Nahar.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the American network CNN Arabic reported that the funeral procession for Ayatollah Khamenei was filled with chants demanding revenge against his killers.
Lebanese newspaper Al-Nahar, in a report, stated that the final farewell to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran would take place on the streets of Tehran, with the participation of a vast number of the country’s citizens. The event, which is being broadcast live on Iranian television channels, is expected to last over ten hours.
