Russia Warns of Catastrophic Consequences for Any Attack on Iran’s Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia has voiced strong concerns over the potential ramifications of any military actions targeting Iran’s Bushehr nuclear facility. Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, stated that recent U.S. incursions into Iran’s Bushehr province did not target the nuclear power plant. He emphasized that if the plant had been targeted, the outcomes would have been catastrophic.
In a statement on his social media account, Ulyanov asserted that any assault on nuclear facilities is a crime and a blatant breach of international regulations. He further elaborated that an attack on the Bushehr nuclear power plant could lead to dire consequences for all Arab states bordering the Persian Gulf. He called for an immediate cessation of such attacks.
Earlier, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran refuted claims circulating on social media regarding an attack on the Bushehr nuclear power plant. The organization affirmed that the facility is operating under completely normal, safe, and stable conditions.
