US Central Command Claims Interception of Iranian Ship

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has asserted that it diverted three commercial vessels attempting to breach its maritime blockade against Iran and subsequently seized another vessel for non-compliance with orders.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, CENTCOM has claimed to have altered the course of three commercial ships it alleges were attempting to violate its maritime blockade against Iran. This assertion was reported by Al Jazeera, citing data published by the Mehr News Agency.
Furthermore, CENTCOM stated that it had seized another commercial vessel for failing to comply with orders, with U.S. military personnel reportedly boarding the vessel. The U.S. military’s Central Command also claimed that the Strait of Hormuz and its surrounding areas remain open for free and open navigation, with the exception of vessels that the entity claims are attempting to breach the U.S. maritime blockade against Iran.
