Iran Strikes US Command Center in Syria, Threatens Hormuz Strait Oil Flow

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has declared a surprise operation targeting a U.S. command center in the Al-Taf region of Syria. The announcement, as reported by Mehr News Agency citing Al-Arabi, asserted that the IRGC successfully struck the U.S. command and control facility.
In a statement, the IRGC emphasized that no oil or gas will be exported via the Strait of Hormuz as long as U.S. attacks continue. The statement reiterated that the Strait of Hormuz remains under the full control of “our brave fighters” and that the export of oil and gas from this vital waterway will be halted if U.S. “malice” persists.
The IRGC further elaborated that the surprise attack on the U.S. special operations command center in the Al-Taf region resulted in the destruction of a radar system and several special operations helicopters. In retaliation for the previous night’s casualties of martyred soldiers in Iran’s Iranshahr, a significant number of “criminal American forces” were eliminated.
In addition to the Al-Taf base, Iran launched extensive missile and drone attacks targeting U.S. bases in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan overnight and in the early hours of today.
