U.S. Official Claims Attacks on Iranian Bridges Aimed at Disrupting Logistics

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a senior U.S. official speaking to The Wall Street Journal admitted to airstrikes against Iranian transportation bridges. The official asserted that these attacks were designed to obstruct logistical routes leading to Bandar Abbas and to cut off access to naval bases responsible for maintaining security in the Strait of Hormuz. This statement was reported by Al Jazeera and published by Mehr News Agency.
These remarks surface as Washington, under specious pretexts of preventing naval operations, has engaged in the destruction of civilian infrastructure, a clear violation of Iran’s national sovereignty. The Islamic Republic of Iran has consistently emphasized that any aggression against its territory and infrastructure will not go unanswered.
Such hostile actions and the explicit acknowledgment by American officials reaffirm that Washington’s policies in the region are a primary driver of instability. These encroachments on Iran’s interests hold no legitimate place within international law.
