Severe Explosions Reported in Erbil Following Drone Attacks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iraqi sources have reported that severe explosions occurred in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, as a result of drone attacks. These sources also indicated the activation of the Patriot missile defense system deployed at a U.S. base in Erbil.

Earlier today, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps carried out a missile attack targeting the Komalah Party, a separatist group, in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, resulting in eight fatalities and several injuries.

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, reported that Iran’s operations to target the positions of separatist groups in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq have been ongoing for three days.
