Hamas Leader Affirms Movement’s Steadfastness on Resistance Path

Osama Hamdan, a senior Hamas official, stated that the election of Khalil Al-Hayya as head of the political bureau demonstrates the movement’s vitality and commitment to the resistance path, emphasizing its ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian cause.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas leader Osama Hamdan has asserted that the movement is continuing on its path of resistance, highlighting the recent election of Khalil Al-Hayya as the head of the political bureau as a testament to Hamas’s enduring strength and its commitment to the Palestinian people and their allies.

Hamdan emphasized that Al-Hayya’s extensive experience and familiarity with Hamas’s operations at various levels, along with his involvement in ongoing negotiations, will be crucial in efforts to end the war and the alleged genocide in the Gaza Strip. He described resistance not as the shortest route, but as the only viable path to securing the rights of the Palestinian nation.

The Hamas leader further noted that Al-Hayya has withstood threats for over two decades. The movement, he stated, is continuing its resistance efforts and rebuilding its internal and field structures following the assassination of some of its leaders. Hamdan pointed to internal solidarity within Hamas as a key element of its strength. He also acknowledged the ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian cause, citing the steadfast support from specific parties, notably Iran, Yemen, and Lebanon, who have actively stood alongside Palestine, even to the point of engagement in conflict.
