The New York Times has acknowledged in a report detailing the recent US aggression and regional conflicts in Iran that American airstrikes against the country led to the deaths of at least 1,700 civilians.

While the number of martyrs from US aggressions against Iran is believed to be higher, this report is considered an admission by the American newspaper regarding the killing of civilians during the aforementioned conflict.

The New York Times reported that on February 28th, several Tomahawk missiles were fired from American naval vessels towards an elementary school in Minab, resulting in 175 casualties. The majority of these victims were children.

Additionally, a new type of American missile struck a gymnasium, a school, and two residential areas in southern Iran, causing the deaths of 21 people.
