Turkey Deploys Five F-16 Fighter Jets to Estonia Under NATO Air Policing Mission
Turkey has stationed five F-16 fighter jets and 76 military personnel at Amari Air Base in Estonia as part of NATO’s enhanced air policing mission. The deployment aims to bolster the security of the airspace of NATO partners.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that five F-16 fighter jets and 76 military personnel have been deployed to Amari Air Base in Estonia. This deployment is undertaken within the framework of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) enhanced air policing mission.
The ministry stated that a contingent of the Turkish Air Force has been stationed at the Estonian air base, emphasizing that members of the Turkish Armed Forces remain resolute in carrying out their critical duties.
The Turkish Ministry of Defense further highlighted that these five fighter jets and 76 Air Force personnel will contribute to the security of the airspace of allied nations.
