Supporters of Rogers urged the lobby not to back his campaign, an unprecedented move signaling the profound impact of the Gaza war on domestic American politics.

The report indicates that Rogers recently engaged in discussions with AIPAC President Michael Tuchman in Los Angeles. Following this meeting, the pro-Israel lobby ceased the dissemination of an advertisement targeting Rogers’ rival, Abdusalem.
