US Central Command Claims to Have Diverted 82 Commercial Vessels Near Iran

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced Friday that its forces have redirected 82 commercial vessels as part of measures to enforce sanctions on Iranian ports. CENTCOM also claimed to have disabled three vessels and inspected two others.

This action, according to CENTCOM, was taken to ensure compliance with the maritime sanctions imposed on Iranian ports. The U.S. military command further asserted that its forces had disabled three vessels and conducted inspections on two commercial ships.
