US MQ9 Drone Downed Over Persian Gulf Near Strait of Hormuz

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the downing of a US MQ9 drone over the Strait of Hormuz. The unmanned aerial vehicle reportedly fell into the Persian Gulf waters.

In a statement, the public relations department of the IRGC stated: “The continuous presence of you on the battlefield is the greatest support for the warriors of Islam. We inform the noble and proud nation that minutes ago, with the missile fire of the ever-vigilant warriors of the IRGC’s new air defense, a long-range MQ9 unmanned aircraft was hit over the Strait of Hormuz and crashed into the blue waters of the Persian Gulf.”
