China Urges US to Revoke Sanctions on Chinese Firms and Individuals

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, China is deeply regretful of and firmly opposes the sanctions imposed by the United States on Chinese companies and individuals over alleged issues related to Iran. The spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Commerce stated this during a press conference on Thursday.

The Chinese official, articulating Beijing’s stance, called on the United States to immediately lift these sanctions. He emphasized that unilateral sanctions by the United States improperly interfere with normal economic and trade exchanges between relevant countries and seriously disrupt global energy security and stable supply.

“China urges the United States to immediately correct its erroneous practices and revoke the sanctions against relevant Chinese companies and individuals,” the spokesperson asserted. The official further noted that China will resolutely protect the legitimate rights and interests of its companies and citizens.
