Israel to Release Five Lebanese Captives

The office of the Israeli Prime Minister announced that Tel Aviv has decided to release five Lebanese citizens apprehended in areas occupied by the regime in southern Lebanon, following investigations that found no links to terrorist organizations.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the office of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime announced that Tel Aviv has decided to release five Lebanese citizens arrested in the occupied areas of southern Lebanon. Based on reports from Al Jazeera, the Prime Minister’s office stated that investigations into the five detained Lebanese citizens revealed no affiliation with any terrorist organization, negating any justification for their continued detention.

The office of the occupying regime’s Prime Minister emphasized that, in return, Prime Minister Netanyahu has ordered intensified efforts to locate the remains of Zionists who were captured and killed in Lebanon in the mid-1980s. The statement from the office claimed that numerous efforts have been made on both Lebanese and Israeli sides to search for the bodies of these Zionists.
