Putin Declares Western Allies of Ukraine Complicit in International Terrorism

Russian President Vladimir Putin asserted that Western allies supporting Ukraine have become accomplices to international terrorism, while emphasizing that Russia remains open to peaceful resolution of the conflict and sees opportunities for its settlement.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Western countries supporting Ukraine are complicit in international terrorism. Speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum, Putin highlighted that Russia is grateful to all parties attempting to facilitate a resolution to the Ukrainian conflict, noting that opportunities for such a settlement do exist.

Putin specifically mentioned China’s consistent attention to resolving the Ukraine conflict, with Beijing believing the issue should be settled through peaceful means. He confirmed that contacts between Russia and Ukraine are ongoing through intelligence agencies.

The Russian President further elaborated on his assertion regarding Western nations, stating that those who remain silent in the face of Ukraine’s actions are becoming accomplices to international terrorism. He pointed out that manifestations of state terrorism by Kyiv complicate the possibility of a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine.

Addressing the battlefield developments, Putin explained that the pace of the Russian military’s advance in the special military operation zone is increasing. He reported that Ukraine’s casualties significantly exceed the number of individuals joining its armed forces through compulsory mobilization. Putin also suggested that rumors about mobilization in Russia are aimed at influencing the results of elections for the State Duma.

Turning to Russia-U.S. relations, Putin indicated that Russia has many friends in the United States and desires a full restoration of ties, contingent on Washington’s willingness. He confirmed that communication channels with representatives appointed by Trump within the U.S. administration for dialogue with Russia remain open and are actively being used.
