Gaza Civil Defense Continues Recovering Bodies from Rubble Amidst Equipment Shortage

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency and citing Russia Today, the Gaza Strip Civil Defense Organization announced that its personnel have extracted the bodies of 55 martyrs from beneath the debris of a residential building belonging to the Malqa family in the Al-Zaytun neighborhood. The organization indicated that its personnel are continuing their search and recovery efforts for the third consecutive day to find and retrieve the bodies of more than 60 martyrs, paving the way for their collective funeral at the beginning of next week. The Palestinian Civil Defense Organization stated that a scarcity of tools and heavy machinery is obstructing the process of searching for and recovering the martyrs’ bodies. The entity appealed to international and humanitarian organizations to provide the necessary bulldozers, excavators, and trucks to complete the process of extracting the remaining bodies trapped under the rubble.
