Russia Intercepts 258 Ukrainian Drones Over Its Territory and Seas

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia’s Ministry of Defense announced that 258 Ukrainian drones were destroyed over 15 regions of the country, as well as the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea during the past night. This announcement comes amid a recent intensification of drone attacks by both sides. Western sources have also reported an increase in Ukrainian drone strikes deep into Russian territory, countered by extensive Moscow attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure.
Concurrently with the escalating conflict between Kyiv and Moscow, special envoys of the President of the United States visited Russia before proceeding to Ukraine. These two American envoys traveled to Ukraine after holding more than three hours of meetings and negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian President, stated that the discussions between Putin and the envoys, identified as Vitkov and Kushner, were constructive and very candid. He added that Vitkov and Kushner committed to utilizing Putin’s assessments on resolving the Ukraine conflict in their subsequent talks in Kyiv. Ushakov further noted that President Putin emphasized the necessity of addressing all root causes of the Ukraine dispute during his meeting with the Trump envoys. While not providing specific details, Ushakov mentioned that Vitkov and Kushner presented their proposals for resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
