Israeli Forces Continue Attacks on Southern Lebanon, Aid Worker Killed

Israeli forces intensified their strikes across southern Lebanon on Monday, targeting various areas including Nabatieh and Kfarman, resulting in the death of an aid worker and injuring two others.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli forces continued their offensive operations in different parts of southern Lebanon on Monday. The city of Deir ez-Zahrani in the Nabatieh region was struck by the Israeli regime, targeting a building that had previously been threatened with bombardment.

In Kfarman, an aid worker was martyred and two others were wounded following an Israeli attack on a vehicle carrying humanitarian relief personnel. The Nabatieh region, specifically the towns of Dwayha and Kfarman, experienced intermittent artillery shelling by the Israeli regime. The town of Bani Hayyan in Marjeyoun also came under Israeli artillery fire.

In the Tyre district, Israeli warplanes conducted an assault on Wadi Zibqin, located on the route to the town of Shihin. The previous evening, Sunday, Israeli warplanes also carried out a series of strikes targeting the city of Nabatieh and the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa.

According to the latest statistics from the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, the number of martyrs from the Israeli regime’s aggression since March 2nd to September 6th has reached 4,362, with 12,378 individuals injured. Including figures from October 8th, 2023, to the present, the total number of martyrs from the Israeli regime’s aggression against Lebanon has risen to 8,929, and the number of wounded has increased to 30,614.
