Amazon Cargo Plane Crash in Miami Kills Five, Injures Five

The aircraft, which had departed from San Juan, Puerto Rico, veered off the end of the runway after touching down, colliding with several vehicles and sparking a massive fire. Miami Mayor Daniella Levine Cava stated in a press conference that five individuals lost their lives in the incident, with five others sustaining injuries. The condition of three of the injured has been reported as critical. Following the accident, over 60 rescue, firefighting, and emergency service teams were dispatched to the scene to contain the fire and provide aid to the victims. The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board also confirmed that a team of its experts will be sent to Miami to investigate the causes and technical aspects of the crash. A spokesperson for Amazon confirmed the incident and stated that the company is cooperating with rescue and investigation teams to ascertain the dimensions of the accident and assist those affected.
