Yemen Files Formal Complaint with UN Over Saudi Aggression

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yemen‘s Deputy Foreign Minister, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, announced the dispatch of official protest letters to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the President of the Security Council, and the European Union. This action was taken in response to the Saudi regime’s persistent and indiscriminate attacks targeting residential areas and public centers in Yemen.

In these official protests, the Yemeni government, while expressing strong condemnation, highlighted the recent Saudi warplane attack on the “Al-Jawf” central prison. Reports indicate that over the past three days, Saudi warplanes have conducted consecutive and systematic attacks in the provinces of Marib, Al-Bayda, Hodeidah, Taiz, and Al-Jawf against civilians and infrastructure.

Previously, the Political Bureau of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement had issued a statement strongly condemning the “treacherous and criminal” attack by Saudi forces on the “Al-Hazm” correctional facility in Al-Jawf province, emphasizing that this crime against civilians would not go unanswered.
