According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data released by maritime analytics firm Kpler, and reported by Reuters via Mehr News Agency, indicates a significant drop in shipping activity in the Strait of Hormuz. On Tuesday, the number of cargo ships navigating the strategic waterway decreased to just six, a notable decline from the average of twelve vessels recorded daily over the past ten days.

The decrease in traffic is occurring amidst ongoing tensions and disruptions in the region. Repeated aggressions by the United States against Iran, particularly within the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, are cited as the cause for the interference with vessel movement, leading to insecurity and instability in this critical maritime zone.
