UAE Envoy Emphasizes Transparency in State Relations Following Algeria Diplomatic Break

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Anwar Gargash, the Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, stated in the first official reaction from Abu Dhabi after Algeria announced the severance of diplomatic relations, that transparency of interests is essential in relations between countries.
Gargash said on the social media platform X that diplomatic relations should be managed with “reason, communication, and clarity of interests,” not with ambiguity and vague messages. He emphasized that successful diplomacy is based on transparency of positions and proper management of interests and disputes.
Gargash claimed: “Diplomatic relations should not be held hostage by internal tensions or the inability to explain interests and set priorities. Ambiguity is not policy, and clamor does not replace a lack of vision.”
These statements come after Algeria announced on Thursday that all efforts to maintain bilateral relations with the UAE had failed, leading to the decision to cut diplomatic ties.
The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused the UAE of provocative and hostile actions, stating that despite numerous warnings, these actions continued and have reached a level that is no longer acceptable.
Algeria also summoned the UAE ambassador to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officially communicated the decision to sever relations, and gave him 48 hours to implement the decision.
