Yemen Declares End to Western Coastal Engagements After Pushing Back Saudi-Backed Forces

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Supreme Political Council of Yemen has announced the termination of military engagements in the western coastal areas after repelling mercenary forces aligned with Saudi Arabia. The council emphasized Yemen’s dedication to ensuring shipping security in the Red Sea.

In a statement, the Supreme Political Council of Yemen declared that the military conflicts in the western coastal strip have concluded following the destruction and withdrawal of enemy forces affiliated with Saudi Arabia. The council reiterated Yemen’s adherence to all its international obligations regarding navigation in the Red Sea.

Previously, Arab media reported that Yemen had gained control over the strategic islands of Zuqur, and Greater and Lesser Hanish in the Red Sea.

Furthermore, according to news sources, Ansar Allah fighters and Yemeni armed forces have consolidated complete control over the strategic “Al-Amri” military base, which overlooks the vital Bab el-Mandeb strait, as they continue their extensive advances against Saudi-backed mercenaries.
