Putin and Modi Meet Ahead of BRICS Summit in India
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting in India prior to the commencement of the BRICS summit. The leaders of Russia and India had last convened less than two weeks prior, on August 31, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Bishkek.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met ahead of the BRICS summit in India. This meeting follows their previous encounter less than two weeks ago, on August 31, during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit held in Bishkek.
The summit of the BRICS member states is scheduled to begin in India shortly, with the participation of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
