FBI Thwarts ISIS-Inspired Attack Plot in Pennsylvania

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a man from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is facing terrorism-related charges after the FBI alleged he was planning an attack in support of the Takfiri terrorist group ISIS. The claims were reported by CBS, citing data published by the Mehr News Agency.

According to the criminal complaint, Jonathan Cramer of Valencia was arrested outside a hotel in Cranberry, where he had reportedly paid cash for a week-long stay. Following a search of both Cramer’s hotel room and his home, agents claimed to have discovered a semi-automatic rifle, magazines loaded with ammunition, a rifle scope, and boxes of ammunition, along with 30 knives and a handwritten note.

Court documents allege that the note instructed people not to look for him and stated, “I can’t live in constant fear.” The FBI also announced that it had found social media communications indicating Cramer was planning an attack in support of ISIS.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced in a statement on Tuesday that the case “apparently involves a conspiracy to commit a violent attack in support of ISIS and to engage in online ISIS propaganda.”
