Moscow Responds to Zelensky’s Claims of Ukraine’s ‘Astronomical’ Budget Deficit

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responded on Sunday to remarks made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky concerning Kyiv’s “astronomical” budget deficit. Earlier, Zelensky had stated at the Carpathian Initiative summit that his country is facing a “huge” budget shortfall.

Zakharova addressed the issue on her Telegram channel, writing, “He will kill more people by paving Ukraine [with bodies] so that he has no commitment whatsoever to the people.”
