Denmark’s Prime Minister Heads to New York for Greenland Discussions

Frederiksen stated that she has been in close contact with her counterparts in Germany, France, and Britain, as well as Nordic friends and valuable partners within the European Union and NATO, over the past days and weeks. This announcement follows her statement the previous day that Denmark, Greenland, and the United States might reach a binding agreement in the coming week. These remarks were made after U.S. President Donald Trump claimed Washington had reached an agreement regarding “permanent control over security and all other needs” in Greenland.
