Saudi Arabia Resumes Missile and Artillery Strikes on Yemen’s Saada

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Saudi Arabia has resumed missile and artillery attacks on the districts of Razih, Ghamr, and Al-Dhahir in Saada province, located in northern Yemen. Reports from Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Yemen confirmed the renewed strikes.

Specific details regarding the extent of the damage or any potential casualties from these attacks have not been elaborated upon by the reporting media.

This development comes just hours after Yahya Saree, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, highlighted a significant intensification of Saudi attacks against Yemen. Saree stated that over the preceding 24 hours, Saudi forces conducted 52 airstrikes using F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets departing from Khamis Mushait and Taif air bases, with missile attacks originating from Jizan.

These broader Saudi offensives have impacted several Yemeni provinces, including Al Hudaydah, Taiz, Al Bayda, Marib, and Saada. According to Saree, these attacks resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of Yemeni citizens, including children and women.

The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces further indicated that the Saudi attacks have targeted civilian infrastructure, including telecommunication networks, schools, and bridges. He added that the total number of Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks since the escalation of tensions against Yemen has now reached 988.
