US Envoy: Lasting Peace in Ukraine Requires Mutual Concessions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, United States Representative to the UN Security Council Mike Waltz declared on Wednesday during a council session concerning Ukraine that missiles and drones are threatening maritime shipping in the Black Sea and global food security. The American official asserted that the United States condemns any attempts to expand the war between Russia and Ukraine, as well as any threats directed at global food resources. He also claimed that President Trump is dedicating his full efforts to ending the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

Waltz further alleged that NATO member nations are experiencing airspace violations and that efforts to broaden the scope of the war between Ukraine and Russia are being condemned. He highlighted that one-third of the global wheat supply is at risk, and millions worldwide face the threat of famine due to the war. Mike Waltz added that intermediaries have been working tirelessly to open diplomatic channels between Russia and Ukraine, and welcomed any action that contributes to this objective, reiterating that establishing peace between Russia and Ukraine requires concessions from both parties.
