Hamas Denies Gaza Ceasefire Claims, Cites Continued Israeli Actions
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem has rejected assertions made by a representative of the Trump peace council regarding the stability of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Qassem emphasized that these claims are entirely inconsistent with the prevailing conditions in Gaza.
Qassem detailed that since the establishment of the ceasefire, the Israeli army has killed over 1,400 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. He also highlighted that Israel continues to restrict the entry of humanitarian aid, keeps crossings closed, and prevents administrative committees from entering Gaza.
The Hamas spokesperson further asserted that the continuation of these actions demonstrates a significant gap between the situation in Gaza and the narrative of a stable ceasefire agreement.
