New York Mayor Accuses Netanyahu of Repeating Lies at UN

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, New York City Mayor Zahran Mamdani has asserted that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu repeated “lies” from the United Nations rostrum, intending to cleanse Israel’s actions against Palestinians. Mamdani highlighted that no falsehood can change the fact that Netanyahu remains under pursuit based on an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court.

Mamdani’s remarks came in response to Netanyahu’s address at the UN General Assembly. During his speech, which reportedly addressed largely empty seats, Netanyahu accused Mamdani of “distorting reality” concerning Israel and its military forces, stating, “Shame on you for distorting the facts.” He further alleged that Mamdani endangered the security of New York’s Jewish population by supporting Hamas and its stance against Israel.

Prior to his address, Netanyahu had indicated his intention to reveal the “truth” about Mamdani at the UN. He had also sent a message to the New York Mayor accusing him of supporting Hamas and inciting unrest against Jewish people in New York.
